ITF Gdansk - Geen halve finales in het dubbelspel voor Polina Bakhmutkina

Bakhmutkina en haar Duitse partner Mina Hodzic, die samen het tweede reekshoofd vormden, gingen in hun tweede ronde (kwartfinale) in twee sets (6-4 en 6-4) onderuit tegen de Poolse Weronika Falkowska en de Spaanse Georgina Garcia-Perez.


De 27-jarige Bakhmutkina, een Russische die in 2021 in België neerstreek en intussen ook de Belgische nationaliteit verkreeg, was de enige landgenote op de tabel in Gdansk. Ze raakte in het enkelspel niet voorbij de tweede en laatste kwalificatieronde.
